14-year-old Skip and a handful of other boys together make up the dance group Rhythm Rangers. The group is managed by a couple who run a dance school in Lelystad, the Netherlands, where Skip and the other boys take lessons. The group will compete for the title of Best Dance Crew in the TV programme Shall We Dance in September 2017. Reaching the top with this disciplined dance group is a goal that the Rhythm Rangers take very seriously. Despite being teased in school — “dancing is for girls” — and despite all the distractions that go hand in hand with puberty, Skip tries to keep the group together and make the Rhythm Rangers a success at all costs. Will he succeed in taking the group to the highest level?
