In the kaleidoscopic documentary Back to the Taj Mahal Hotel, director Carina Molier explores the tensions between freedom and fear, vulnerability and control, safety and insecurity in the light of the ever increasing feelings of insecurity and fear in the world. What are the deepest workings of fear? Are we not supposed to face our fears and move through a crisis? Can fear liberate us? And what does fear tell us about who we really are?
