In 1889, world famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh arrived at the psychiatric health institution Saint-Paul de Mausole in France. Nowadays, the health institution still exists and patients can still paint there. Through Van Gogh’s letters and the experiences of the current patients, this film explores the line between madness and creativity.
